Philippines Stocks almost reach 6,600 points!

By: Klyde carpizo

The Philippines stock exchange index (PSEi) had the lowest points at 6,552.46 since Nov 4. 2020 after losing more than 5% of the 3 major companies in decline: Alliance Global Group Inc., Ayala Corp, and Megaworld Corp.

But the local index equities index surged to raise points this Tuesday (April 6,2021) because of the implementation of domestic inflation rate that was recently declared last March.

The PSEi gained from 6.552.46 to 6,590.11 points with the bonus that All Shares increased by 1.41% gaining 55.54 points and All sectoral indexes gained 2% in the market

“Philippine shares soared close to the 6,600 level after another round of upbeat economic news from the services sector in the US and lower inflation gave optimism to many investors,” Luis Limlingan, Regina Capital Development Corporation head of sales.
