According to reports on May 7, 2021, the recovery has reached 1 million and the death cases to 18,000. DOH tallies the recovery of about 92.5% of the total infections in the country.DOH included the new cases of 6,979 which totals to 63,376 active cases which would be a smaller percentile of the overall cases since Covid-19 made its way to the Philippines last year.
